Hello!

Welcome to my blog for my photography business! I have been doing photography for 13 years and have finally taken the plunge to start a blog. Better late than never? 🙂 I’m so excited to be embarking on this journey and getting to share more of the people I get to capture and their stories, and bits and pieces of me and my families life here in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

A little introduction about me! I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. At age 19, I made my first trip to the Big Island of Hawaii for a few months. I ended up living in Haiti for a while, where I met my husband and then moved to Colorado to where he is from! We got married in 2014 in Estes Park, Colorado, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Then went on to a season for a couple years in Kansas City, Missouri. Our family finally landed long term in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii in the summer of 2017. The Big Island of Hawaii has become home to us through and through and we fall more in love with it everyday.

We have two precious toddlers, Selah who is turning 3 next week, and Samuel who turns 2 this summer. Life is crazy and wonderful all at the same time with two littles and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’ve added a few photos to this post that one of my dearest friends and fellow photographers Michaella McClendon took of our family a few months back!
